"Think Green," Everyday!

We invite you to celebrate what’s “green” for people and the environment. Businesses, non-profits, the City of Newcastle, community leaders, and individuals share ideas and solutions to help make our lives healthier - socially, economically, and environmentally.

The day’s events include informative educational mini-seminars, kids activities, the Pacific Science Center's interactive "Science in the Environment" display, geocaching, blackberry munching goats, and musical entertainment by the Boeing Employees’ Concert Band, the High School Jazz Band, and "The Gifted Program." Bert the Salmon, King County's Natural Resource Mascot, shares how we impact the health of Puget Sound. Eco-friendly businesses showcase products from organic body care products to solar and wind energy solutions. Join us for the celebration!
