April 11th, Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Make Hippie Necklaces and Headbands for Earth Day. Newcastle King County Library on Newcastle Way, large conference room.

Sept 19, 2015 Saturday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Knotweed Workshop 2015 with City of Newcastle and King County Noxious Weed Control Program. Location: Fire Station #9 at 12412 SE Newcastle Way, Newcastle, WA 98056. Park in the back of the firestation. Follow the cement path to the side door to the conference room.

Sept 2015 Date TBA: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Environmental Education Week with City of Bellevue

October 2015 Date TBA:  Newcastle Arbor Day . Tree Planting with City of Newcastle

November or Dec, 2015 Date TBA: KCD Nursery Weeding. Your volunteer hours turn into trees for our restoration projects.

January 23rd, Friday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Weeding at the King Conservation District nursery. Your volunteer hours turn into trees for our restoration plantings. Location: Map the Nursery is just off of Grady Way to the north on Longacres Drive SW. Park by the chain link fence at the entrance.

February 11th, Wednesday: 11:00 AM to 12:30PM Newcastle Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon with speaker Mayor Buri is sponsored by the Weed Warriors, promoting Newcastle Earth Day. Join us for lunch! Register here on the Chamber website.
